Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies in Dallas, TX is seeking an Industrial Chiller Technician with hands-on experience servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing water-cooled and air-cooled chillers. The role combines mechanical, electrical, and HVAC know-how to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

You will work in a climate-controlled facility with a Monday–Friday schedule 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, no on-call rotations, and opportunities for overtime; you’ll test in our Test Lab, document repairs, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing water-cooled and air-cooled chillers.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair water cooled and air cooled chillers.
• Start up and test chillers in our Test Lab.
• Perform refrigerant recovery, leak detection, and system recharging per EPA regulations.
• Monitor run logs to ensure proper operation and efficiency.
• Maintain records of repairs, parts usage, and equipment status.
• Operate tools safely, including lifts and hoists.
• Keep work areas organized and follow 5-S and safety standards.

Competitive Pay: This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $45.00 /hr. to $50.00 /hr., depending on experience and qualifications. We are looking for a skilled Industrial Air Cooled and Water Cooled chiller Technician with experience in servicing, troubleshooting and repairing chiller systems. This role combines mechanical, electrical, and HVAC expertise to ensure equipment operates efficiently and meets safety standards.

What You'll Do

• Knowledge of EPA refrigerant handling guidelines and safety compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
