Job summary

Airco Mechanical is seeking experienced HVAC technicians for commercial and industrial service work across Texas. You will repair and maintain chillers, cooling towers, pumps and motors, and work with water source heat pumps and VFDs in large facilities.

Candidates should have a High School or Trade School diploma, an EPA Universal license, at least 3 years of HVAC experience, and a valid Texas driver’s license with a clean record. Benefits include strong health coverage and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance on HVAC systems including chillers, cooling towers, pumps and motors.
• Work with water source heat pumps and evaporative condensers.
• Understand basic HVAC controls and VFDs.
• Service air handling equipment, including VAV systems in large commercial spaces.
• Perform preventative maintenance on hydronic cooling and heating systems.
• Conduct pump and motor alignments.

Airco is looking for technicians with experience in any of the following:

• Possess hands on skills and knowledge to complete required repairs and maintenance on a variety of chiller manufacturers, cooling towers, pumps, motors, and HVAC systems using industry standard tools and in accordance with all codes, laws, and regulations
• Water source heat pumps and evaporative condensers
• Understanding of basic HVAC controls and VFD’s
• Air handling equipment including VAV systems typically found in larger commercial systems
• Performing preventative maintenance on hydronic cooling & heating systems
• Pump and motor alignments
• OEM CERTIFICATIONS ARE A PLUS
• OEM EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and/or CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• High School or Trade School Graduate or GED
