Job summary

You will perform end-to-end testing, start-ups, and commissioning, with on-call emergency availability and structured maintenance scheduling. Requirements include 5 years journeyman experience, EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and commercial/industrial air conditioning expertise.

Qualifications

• 5 years of journeyman level experience and technical schooling.
• Commercial/industrial air conditioning experience required.
• Knowledge of chiller systems, HVAC, and central plants.
• EPA certification and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work on-call during rotations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair central plant equipment, including chillers 100 tons and larger, motors, pumps, valves, controls, cooling towers, vane axial fans, and other equipment.
• Overhaul of centrifugal chillers a plus.
• Familiar with rigging and lifting operations.
• Provide support for recommended repairs from delivery to completion.
• Be available for emergency service calls on a rotating on-call basis.
• Conduct end-to-end testing, programming, start-ups, and commissioning of systems.
• Schedule and manage site-wide maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair duties for chillers, cooling towers, and central plant equipment.
• Perform daily and monthly preventative maintenance on all related equipment.
• Ensure maintenance is completed within the scheduled month and timeframes.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for on-site equipment.
