Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a detail-oriented Pressure Tester to join our manufacturing team in Virginia. You will test chillers for data centers, verify integrity, and identify leaks to ensure high-performance cooling systems meet safety and quality standards.

The role is on-site in Natural Bridge, VA (43 Douglas Way) with 3rd shift hours from 10 PM to 6 AM and a starting rate of $24.23/hour, increasing to $26.23/hour after 9 months, plus a $1.50/hour shift differential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, quality testing or HVAC/refrigeration preferred.
• Knowledge of pressure testing procedures, leak detection methods, and chiller systems is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with testing equipment such as digital pressure gauges and leak detection tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pressure tests on assembled chillers to ensure proper system function and quality.
• Inspect components for leaks or defects and monitor pressure during tests.
• Record test results and document readings and corrective actions.
• Follow safety protocols when handling pressurized systems and hazardous materials.
