Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in the United States is seeking an End-of-Line Airedale Chiller Test Technician to ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of air-cooled and water-cooled chillers before they leave the production line. The technician will conduct final system tests, troubleshoot issues, and verify compliance with company and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or relevant experience).
• Experience in chiller testing, HVAC systems, or refrigeration preferred.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults effectively.
• Attention to detail in quality control.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive end-of-line testing on Airedale chillers, including pressure, temperature, electrical, and refrigerant system checks.
• Verify operational performance against engineering specifications and industry regulations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system issues, performing necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Ensure all chillers meet quality and safety standards before shipment.
• Accurately document test results, findings, and corrective actions taken.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify recurring issues and implement improvements.
• Use testing instruments such as pressure gauges, multimeters, thermometers, and refrigerant analyzers.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
