Qualifications

• Eligible for NY HELPS program (Emergency Limited Placement).
• Valid NYS driver’s license or ability to meet transportation needs.
• Experience operating boilers and HVAC systems and performing maintenance.
• Ability to calibrate and test controls and analyze results.

Responsibilities

• Operate steam and hot water boilers and monitor boiler systems, including start-up and shutdown procedures.
• Operate central and auxiliary HVAC equipment and chilled water systems, ensuring proper temperatures.
• Calibrate controls and balance air distribution while maintaining safety standards.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and troubleshoot HVAC, boiler, and related equipment.
