Job summary

YMCA of Central Texas is seeking a Program Director for ChildWatch in Cedar Park, TX at the Twin Lakes Family YMCA. You will oversee the ChildWatch department, birthday parties, and branch communications with marketing, reporting to the Associate Executive Director.

The role requires leadership in staff supervision, program development, and fundraising efforts, with adaptability for weekend or non-standard hours. Core YMCA values should guide all operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
• Highly motivated, organized, personable, enthusiastic displaying leadership abilities.
• Experience in supervising or directing programs as a program and/or center director preferred.
• YMCA Team Leader certification preferred.
• Are adaptable, flexible, and enjoy variety including periodic weekends and non-business hour workdays.
• Serve as a leader in the Annual Giving campaign and other fundraising initiatives.
• Model the YMCA core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility in all programs and center operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ChildWatch and birthday party program operations.
• Supervise staff: hiring, training, coaching, and maintain safe operations.
• Collaborate with Core Groups to set best practices and ensure standards.
• Manage balanced budgets and support program growth.
• Support branch events, newsletters, and association marketing efforts.
• Cross-promote YMCA programs between departments and branches.
• Handle Director on Duty responsibilities as assigned.
• Support Strong Kids Campaign and fundraising initiatives.
• Provide staff training and leadership development.

Under the direction of the Twin Lakes Family YMCA Associate Executive Director, the Program Director will oversee the success of the Twin Lakes Family YMCA Childwatch Department, Campus Birthday Parties, and Branch communications with marketing.
