Soccer Shots - TXLA is seeking an energetic Children’s Soccer Coach to lead engaging sessions in the Longview area. You’ll blend a love of soccer with fun, safe instruction to inspire young players and build confidence on and off the field.

This role emphasizes effective communication with parents, reliability for practice schedules, and a passion for helping kids develop soccer basics and teamwork in a structured, supportive program.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children in a coaching or childcare setting.
• Basic soccer knowledge and a passion for the sport.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate soccer sessions for young children.
• Create a positive, safe, and encouraging environment for all participants.
• Teach fundamental soccer skills including dribbling, passing, and teamwork.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding player progress.
• Manage classroom and field behavior in a fun and constructive manner.
• Arrive prepared and on time to all scheduled practices and events.
• Represent the Soccer Shots brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Requirements

• Experience working with young children in a coaching, teaching, or childcare setting
• Basic soccer knowledge and a passion for the sport
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation to travel to program locations in the Longview area
• Ability to pass a background check
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
• Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with kids
