Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Children’s Pastor at Ben Davis Christian Church in Indianapolis, IN. The Children’s Pastor will lead and oversee all aspects of the children’s ministry. Responsibilities include teaching biblical principles, providing pastoral care, coordinating ministry programs, developing volunteer teams, and creating a welcoming, engaging environment for children and their families. This role will focus on fostering spiritual growth and implementing strategies aligned with the church's mission and vision.

Qualifications

• Experience in Pastoral Care and general Pastoral responsibilities
• Proficiency in Biblical Studies and an understanding of theology
• Skills in Ministry Leadership and implementing ministry programs
• Ability to build and lead teams effectively
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Passion for working with children and engaging their families
• Bachelor’s degree in Ministry, Theology, or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in children’s ministry or similar roles is a plus
