At KidStrong, we help parents build stronger, smarter, more athletic kids. KidStrong is a milestone accelerator for kids up to 11 years old. We help parents discover their child’s superpowers and build future‑ready kids who are confident making friends, running the playground, and raising their hands high in the classroom. In other words… kids who will win at life!

Position Overview

KidStrong Plantation is rapidly growing and we are looking for a talented, enthusiastic Children’s Coach who is passionate, energetic, and excited to engage with parents and kids and make an impact on their lives.

Perks and Benefits
  • Join a workplace where you can be part of a fun, energetic, and professional team that loves what they do.
  • Coach and mentor children to make an impact on their lives.
  • Teach parents how to make their children smarter, stronger, and more confident.
  • Have flexibility for a part‑time or full‑time schedule.
Role and Schedule Details
  • Coach with athletic or coaching experience, preferably with kids ages 12 months to 11 years old.
  • Focus on coaching children on brain, physical, and character development based on the evolving monthly curriculum.
  • Comfortable speaking to parents/guardians about the rationale behind the KidStrong curriculum.
  • Classes run weekdays 9 am-11 am and afternoons 2:30 pm-7:30 pm; weekends 8 am-2 pm.
  • Additional hours with birthday parties and camps.
  • Opportunity for a flexible work schedule depending on studio needs.
Responsibilities
  • Coach class sizes of 6 to 15 children, age groups ranging from roughly 12 months old to 11 years old.
  • Teach the KidStrong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team.
  • Ensure classes both start and end on schedule and follow the appropriate pace of curriculum.
  • Greet students as well as the parent(s)/guardian(s) individually prior to and at the beginning of class.
  • Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor when leading the class.
  • Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various exercises.

  • Work in a physically intensive environment—coaches may cover multiple miles in a shift moving through class, lifting and repeatedly moving equipment up to 25 pounds in weight.
  • Be comfortable working “hands‑on” with kids to ensure proper technique and ensure student safety.
  • Assist parents of students ages three and younger with the direction and flow of a class.
  • Attend monthly center staff programming meetings to receive training for next month’s curriculum.
  • Attend additional mandatory staff meetings as required by the KidStrong Director.
  • Learn and manage Coach KidStrong Camp—special classes held by centers when local schools are not operating (for example Winter Break, Summer Break).
  • Obtain certified status by the HQ Training and Certification team.
