Job summary

Calex-Sports-Inc in the Bay Area is seeking a part-time youth coach to lead after-school classes at local elementary schools. Sessions run Monday–Friday 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, usually one hour per class with a possible extra 30 minutes of pre-care.

Pay ranges from $50–$65 per session and equipment is provided. Training/shadowing is required; coaches must have reliable transportation and complete a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old at application.
• Candidates must live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience coaching or working with kids is preferred but not required.
• Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting.
• Flexible, reliable, and punctual.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have TB test and Live Scan background check before starting.
• Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload on our website and introduce your experience in sports.

Job Overview

Our programs are held at various elementary schools, Monday–Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. This is a part-time position where coaches typically teach one class per day (about one hour), with the possibility of an extra 30 minutes of pre-care. These sessions focus on creating a fun and energetic environment for younger and beginner-level children.

The pay ranges from $50–$65 per session, and all equipment is provided by us.

Requirements

• Must be 19+ years old upon application
• Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience in sports you are applying, coaching, or working with kids is preferred but not required
• Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting
• Flexible, reliable, and punctual
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work
• Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload in our website and introduce your experience in sports.

Work Type: Part-time (2–5 hours per week) Pay: $50–$65 per session

Programs are offered at multiple schools across the Bay Area. Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
