Canyon Hills Friends Church is seeking a passionate Children’s Pastor to lead Ministry for Nursery through 5th Grade. You’ll guide Sunday and midweek programs, plan engaging events, and recruit and train volunteers to create a vibrant, gospel-centered environment for kids and families.

We’re looking for a visionary, organized leader who can grow a thriving children’s ministry, foster discipleship, and develop outreach to welcome new families into a life-changing relationship with Christ.

Aufgaben

• Lead and oversee ministries from Nursery through 5th Grade, including Sunday programs, midweek activities, and MOMCO.
• Create engaging programs using the Orange Curriculum focused on worship, discipleship, evangelism, fellowship, and service.
• Plan events that engage the community, such as Easter Egg Hunt, VBS, and Fall Outreach.
• Build and train an incredible volunteer team by recruiting, equipping, and coaching leaders.
• Foster discipleship by helping kids grow in faith and share Jesus with others.
• Develop outreach strategies to welcome new families and connect unchurched kids to Christ.
• Create a safe and welcoming environment by overseeing classroom coordination, childcare staff, and safety protocols.

We’re looking for a Children’s Pastor who is ready to lead with vision, creativity, and a heart for reaching kids and their families with the gospel.

What You’ll Do:

As our Children’s Pastor, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Lead & Oversee our ministries for Nursery through 5th Grade, including Sunday programs, Wednesday night program, and our MOMCO ministry.


• Create Engaging Programs that help kids develop a love for Jesus through Orange Curriculum and a focus on worship, discipleship, evangelism, fellowship, and service.


• Plan Exciting Events that reach our community, including our Easter Egg Hunt, VBS, and Fall Outreach.


• Build & Train an Incredible Volunteer Team by recruiting, equipping, and coaching leaders to serve in children’s ministry.


• Foster Discipleship by helping kids know Christ, grow in their faith, and share Jesus with others.


• Develop Outreach Strategies to welcome new families and connect unchurched kids to a life-changing relationship with Christ.


• Create a Safe & Welcoming Environment by overseeing classroom coordination, childcare staff, and safety protocol including on boarding protocols and background checks.
