Northwestern Counseling & Support Services Inc. is seeking a Children’s Outpatient Therapist in Vermont. The role combines telehealth and in-person sessions at our St.

Albans clinic, a short drive from Burlington. Master’s degree and VT licensure or eligibility are required; supervision toward licensure is provided. The position is full-time (40 hours) with flexible scheduling, including remote work options and a shortened week if desired.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or related field.
• Licensed or licensure eligible to practice in Vermont.
• Experience with young children and families.
• Experience treating adolescents with substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy for individuals, possibly with a family member, and groups of children.
• Deliver services via telehealth and in-person sessions in St. Albans, VT.
• Engage in professional development and ongoing supervision toward licensure.
• Participate in an introductory period and meet program requirements.

SIGN ON BONUS: This position is eligible for a $1000.00 Sign On Bonus!Northwestern Counseling & Support Services is seeking a Children’s Outpatient Therapist. This position will involve psychotherapy for individuals, sometimes including a family member, and groups of children. Services are provided through a combination of telehealth and in-person formats in our St. Albans clinic, which is a short 25-minute commute from Burlington, VT.Applicants must have a Master’s degree in a related counseling field and be licensed or licensure eligible. Free supervision toward licensure is available! A licensed clinician is preferred; however, we welcome early career therapists working toward licensure. Experience working with young children and families is highly desirable, as well as clinicians who can treat adolescents with substance use disorders.
