The Clinician will work as part of a treatment team and provide clinical services to individuals with severe mental illness, including mood disorders. Johnson County Mental Health is hiring a licensed Master's Level Clinician to work in their Children & Family Services program, providing clinical services to youth, ages 3-18, who have been diagnosed with severe emotional disabilities (SED) and their families. Along with other clinician responsibilities, this position will collaborate with the DeSoto Mental Health Intervention Team school liaison to identify and connect youth to appropriate mental health services, and eliminate barriers to receiving mental health services, with the goal of maintaining severely emotionally disturbed youth in the most natural, least restrictive setting possible. Services will primarily take place in the Mission office with some clinical services being provided in DeSoto School District buildings.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or other Human Services field.
Kansas Behavioral Sciences licensure at the master's level in the area of focus.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
Kansas Behavioral Sciences license at the clinical level; licensed as a Masters or Clinical Addiction Counselor by the Behavioral Health Sciences Regulatory Board with the State of Kansas, experience in a community health setting.
