At Devereux, as a Habilitation Counselor, you will work with children aged 8-21 with IDD/BH/MH diagnoses, impacting their lives by helping them reach their full potential daily.
The youth in this program often face skill deficits in impulse control, emotion regulation, and developmental skills due to trauma, which affects their resilience and leads to challenges such as school difficulties, family conflict, dependency, or delinquency.
Every day as a Habilitation Counselor, you will:
You will be offered:
Available shifts: 7am - 3pm | 2pm - 10pm
Schedule: One scheduled day off during the week, every other weekend.
Compensation: $20.25 - $23.05/hr (based on experience and education).
Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) serves children and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and behavioral health challenges, offering residential, inpatient, assessment, community-based services, and private school educational services.
Qualifications:
Devereux maintains a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and promotes a culture of reporting and cooperation with authorities.
