Job summary

The Little Gym International in Renton, WA is seeking a lively Children's Fitness Instructor to lead movement-based classes and coordinate magical birthday parties. You’ll be part of a team that makes kids smile while teaching our proven curriculum.

This role rewards energy and a love of teaching, with opportunities for advancement, free uniforms, and on-the-job training in a fun, community-focused environment where parents and children leave every class with confidence.

Qualifications

• Background in child development, physical education and/or gymnastics helps as well.
• Background in gymnastics, dance, early childhood development or education.
• You live to serve! Making others feel good makes you feel good.
• Kids really like you and their parents really like you too.
• Voted most likely to be in a good mood by your high school classmates.
• Love to have fun but you know when to buckle down and do work.

Responsibilities

• Teach amazing classes and lead fabulous birthday parties based on our proven curriculum and teaching method.
• Be part of a team of instructors who teach classes and run birthday parties on the weekends.
• Coordinate all aspects of birthday parties with families who are hosting at our facility and make sure they have a truly magical experience!
• Provide outstanding customer service and membership experience. We treat our members like family here.
• Be ready to LEAD. We will make a positive impact on the growth and development of the children and families of our community! But we also make a difference in the lives of our teammates! Many of the leaders in our company started in this position and have enjoyed the opportunities for upward mobility.

The Little Gym is the world’s premier enrichment and physical development center for children ages 4 months through 12 years. Programs offer children a Springboard to Life’s Adventures by using movement-based learning and imaginative play to help build the confidence and skills needed at each stage of childhood.

For over 40 years, our trained instructors have nurtured happy, confident kids through parent/child classes, gymnastics, dance and enjoyable extras like camps, Parents’ Survival Nights, skill clinics and Awesome Birthday Bash parties. Once you become a part of The Little Gym squad, you will be part of a team dedicated to the growth and development of children all over the globe.

All associated locations are independently owned and operated by a franchisee. Your application will go directly to the franchise Somersault Operating, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of that Somersault Operating. All inquiries about employment at this franchise should be made directly to Somersault Operating, and not to The Little Gym Franchising Corporate. Somersault Operating currently has 30 The Little Gym locations spread across 8 states (SC, NC, VA, TN, PA, NJ, WA, CA). With multiple new locations scheduled to open in the coming years, Somersault Operating looks forward to having you helping us grow!

Compensation: $21.57 - $24.00 per hour
