Job summary

Lifepoint Church in Wilmington, NC seeks a Children’s Pastor/Director to lead the campus children’s ministry from birth through elementary. You will build safe environments, recruit and develop volunteers, and partner with parents to support spiritual growth for kids.

Lifepoint Church is a life-giving church founded in Wilmington, NC in 2006 by Founding & Lead Pastor Jeff Kapusta. Today, Lifepoint is one church in multiple locations across the greater Wilmington area, reaching thousands of people each week and helping people experience life change in Jesus.

Position Overview

The Children’s Pastor/Director leads the children’s ministry at a Lifepoint campus, creating environments where kids can experience Jesus, parents can feel confident and supported, and leaders can find meaningful opportunities to serve and grow.

This role owns thespiritual health, leadership development, culture, and executionof the children’s ministry at the campus. They build and develop strong volunteer teams, create safe and engaging ministry environments, partner with parents, and ensure the Lifepoint mission, values, and culture are consistently experienced by every child and family.

This is more than a programming role. It is apastor, leader, and team builderrole for someone who loves kids, develops people, pursues excellence, and takes ownership of helping the next generation take their next step toward life in Jesus.
