Job summary

AMHC seeks a Children’s Specialist Services Manager to support administrative and day‑to‑day operations of children’s behavioral health programs across county sites. The role provides leadership, supervision, and performance management to ensure high‑quality services for children and families.

You will oversee program delivery, contribute to workforce development, and collaborate with agency leadership on strategic initiatives and quality improvement to foster effective care coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavioral Health, Health Care, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in behavioral health, social services, case management, or related setting.
• 1–2 years of supervisory or program management experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Director of Children’s Services in evaluating, monitoring, and improving service delivery.
• Support development, implementation, and expansion of children’s behavioral health programs.
• Collaborate with agency leadership regarding daily operations, service redesign, and new program development.
• Participate in strategic planning, organizational initiatives, and quality improvement activities.
• Provide direct supervision, coaching, and oversight to service leads and supervisory staff.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and staff retention efforts.
