Sun Recruiting, Inc. in New York City is seeking an adaptable apparel designer to support seasonal Big Girls Walmart licensed collections. You will research trends, create colorways, and prepare presentations using Illustrator and Photoshop.

You will collaborate with senior designers, merchandising, and product development to ensure concepts meet brand guidelines and retailer needs. On-site with some Fridays remote, based in NYC.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apparel design experience, preferably in children's or retail apparel.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends, color, graphics, and apparel construction.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Support the design and development of seasonal apparel collections for the Big Girls Walmart licensed business.
• Research current fashion, color, graphic, and market trends relevant to the target customer.
• Create and update apparel designs, colorways, and presentations using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Collaborate with Senior Designers, Graphic Designers, Merchandising, and Product Development teams.
• Help develop design concepts that align with brand guidelines, retailer needs, and seasonal trends.
• Review samples and provide design feedback throughout the development process.
• Organize and maintain design files, artwork, and seasonal project information.
• Assist with approvals and revisions to ensure designs meet brand and customer expectations.
