Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a talented apparel designer to support seasonal Big Girls Walmart licensed collections in NYC. You will explore fashion trends, color, and graphics while creating designs and presentations in Illustrator and Photoshop.

Collaborate with Senior Designers, Graphic Designers, Merchandising, and Product Development to ensure brand alignment, timely samples, and impactful concepts. This on-site/hybrid role offers Friday work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apparel design experience, preferably in children's or retail apparel.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends, color, graphics and apparel construction.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Licensed apparel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of seasonal apparel collections for the Big Girls Walmart licensed business.
• Research current fashion, color, graphic, and market trends for target customers.
• Create and update apparel designs, colorways, and presentations using Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Collaborate with Senior Designers, Graphic Designers, Merchandising, and Product Development teams.
• Help develop design concepts aligning with brand guidelines and retailer needs.
• Review samples and provide design feedback during development.
• Organize and maintain design files, artwork, and seasonal project information.
• Assist with approvals and revisions to ensure designs meet brand and customer expectations.
