Job description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate, proactive, and mission-driven Brand Ambassador to help lead our national campaign—the Adventure Ted Challenge. In this role, you will spearhead fundraising efforts both online and in person, working to activate communities, secure sponsorships, and plan engaging events that raise awareness and critical funds for families affected by pediatric cancer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute creative fundraising campaigns across digital and physical channels

  • Plan and coordinate local and national events, including bar crawls, walkathons, and bake sales

  • Build and manage relationships with sponsors, donors, and local business partners

  • Collaborate with CCS brand ambassadors and internal teams to maximize campaign reach

  • Track progress, generate reports, and share impact stories that inspire continued giving

  • Assist in outreach and onboarding of volunteers and participants

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, or event coordination

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • A self-starter with creativity and a passion for cause-driven work

  • Well-connected within your local or online community, with the ability to rally supporters, invite participants to events, and mobilize networks for a meaningful cause

  • Experience using tools like Givebutter, Eventbrite, or similar platforms (a plus)

  • Familiarity with social media fundraising and digital marketing strategies

  • Ability to work evenings or weekends for events, as needed
