Job summary

Brentwood Baptist Church is seeking a Childcare Worker for The Church at Avenue South, responsible for caring for children from birth through 5th grade under the direction of the Next Gen Minister. The role includes Sunday PM, Wednesday PM as needed, and special events.

You will provide safe, age-appropriate activities, craft and game time, and maintain safety and cleanliness in the childcare area while adhering to church policies.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Christian character aligned with Brentwood Baptist Church.
• Ability to lift children and move around easily.
• Certification in Infant/Child CPR or willingness to obtain.
• Criminal background check required.

Job description

The Church at Avenue South Childcare Worker is responsible to the church, under the direction of the Avenue South Next Gen Minister, for providing childcare for ages birth through 5th grade. Hours include Sunday PM, Wednesday PM (as needed) and Special Events. Pay is $15/hour. Must be comfortable teaching Bible stories and helping with crafts and games.
