Job summary

Celebree is seeking a Childcare Van Driver to transport children safely in company vehicles while upholding safety and well-being at all times. You will follow established routes, ensure vehicle cleanliness, and support Celebree’s mission and values on every journey.

The role emphasizes safety-first driving, careful supervision of children, and a professional, friendly demeanor in interactions with families and staff.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• First Aid & CPR certified.
• Teacher qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist children into and out of the van; ensuring seat belts are fastened and child safety seats are in place and good operating condition.
• Follow established routes, schedules, and procedures ensuring the safety of children at all times.
• Ensure the children are picked up and dropped off with their safety as a primary focus.
• Ensure that children are not left unsupervised within or outside of the vehicle.
• Ensure Celebree vehicle policies and federal, state, and local ordinances regulating road safety are met.
• Confirm all children are accounted for at all times by performing name-to-face checks.
• Interact with children in a friendly and supportive manner using children’s names with appropriate tone of voice.
• Present a positive and professional image at all times.

Education
