Responsibilities

• Assist children into and out of the van; ensure seat belts are fastened.
• Follow established routes, schedules and procedures to keep children safe.

• Ensure children are not left unsupervised in or outside the vehicle.
• Adhere to Celebree vehicle policies and road-safety laws.
• Account for all children at all times and greet them by name.
• Present a positive and professional image at all times.

Job Summary

As a Childcare Van Driver, you'll be responsible for transporting children in company vehicles while maintaining their safety and well-being at all times. From following established routes and procedures to ensuring our vehicles are properly cleaned and maintained, you'll play a vital role in upholding Celebree's mission, vision, and values with every journey you take.

Responsibilities

• Assist children into and out of the van; ensuring seat belts are fastened and child safety seats are in place and good operating condition.
• Follow established routes, schedules, and procedures ensuring the safety of children at all times.
• Ensure the children are picked up and dropped off with their safety as a primary focus.
• Ensure that children are not left unsupervised within or outside of the vehicle.
• Ensure Celebree vehicle policies and federal, state, and local ordinances regulating road safety are met.
• Confirm all children are accounted for at all times by performing name-to-face checks.
• Interact with children in a friendly and supportive manner using children’s names with appropriate tone of voice.
• Present a positive and professional image at all times.
