Job summary

Color Our Rainbow Academy in Akron, OH is seeking an experienced Child Care Teacher to lead a developmentally appropriate classroom and deliver engaging, hands-on learning.

You will build strong family partnerships, supervise daily activities, and ensure safety while guiding children through exploration and growth. Both full-time and part-time float/assistant roles available.

Qualifications

• Meet state licensing qualifications (5101:2-12-27).
• CPL 3+ for Lead Teacher; CPL 1-2 for Assistant or Float.
• Experience in licensed early childhood program preferred.

• Create and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being of every child through active supervision.
• Build relationships with families through daily communication and updates.
