Job summary

New Horizon Academy is seeking energetic, nurturing teachers in West Des Moines, IA to join our growing team and inspire a love of learning in young children. You will work in a welcoming classroom and help create a safe, engaging environment for daily exploration.

We offer a wage range of $16.10-$21.35 per hour, based on experience and education. Must be available to work any shift between 6:30am and 6:00pm, with benefits including health insurance, a 401K, paid time off, discounted childcare,

Qualifications

• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
• Passion for working with young children.
• Interest in beginning or continuing education in early childhood education.
• Documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, and to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.
