Status: Non-Exempt, Part-Time
Reports To: Childcare Director
Salary: $18.00-$21.11 per hour
Location: Oceanside, CA (North San Diego County) – located inside a military base installation, base access provided to civilian employees.

As part of our dynamic team, you'll help plan, lead, and immerse children in engaging group and individual programs. Your creativity will come alive as you set up indoor and outdoor activity spaces and materials, ensuring every day is a delightful adventure. Embrace the guidance of your supervisor as you independently bring joy and learning to the children we care for.
You must be at least 18 years old and possess one year of prior experience working with children, youth, or teens in a daycare setting. Complete all required training within established timeframes and demonstrate competencies to maintain employment status, including orientation, Heart Saver Pediatric First Aid and CPR training, Great Academy and Teaching Strategies annual trainings, and approved Marine Corps Standardized Module Training. Meet current health and sanitation requirements and successfully pass random drug testing, a criminal background check, driving record check, and employment reference background check.
From sitting and standing to walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs, you’ll remain active throughout the day. Occasionally lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Display sufficient strength, agility, and mobility to supervise children’s activities safely. Demonstrate good physical and mental health through annual health screenings, up-to-date immunizations, and required tests.
