Position Title: Early Preschool Teacher Location: Primrose School of Liberty – Liberty, MO Position Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift 7-4 | 8-5 | 9-6 Salary: $16+

Responsibilities

Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children

Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that are created for you

Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning space

Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community

Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Support children’s individual learning needs and encourage their social and emotional growth

What You'll Do:

As an integral member of our teaching team, you will:

Assist in providing high-quality early learning experiences through age-appropriate activities and a total learning environment tailored to each child's needs

Use the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum to create a positive and engaging classroom experience

Act as a liaison between children, families, and school leadership to foster strong relationships and a culture of trust

Maintain a cheerful, professional attitude to keep families and staff members supported and delighted

Supervise, interact with, and ensure the safety of children at all times

Accept and adapt to changes with flexibility and a growth mindset

Display professionalism, pride in your work, and attentiveness to the needs of children, families, and coworkers

Collaborate with other staff to maintain a nurturing, responsive, and organized classroom environment

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Strong communication, collaboration, and basic computer skills

Passion for early childhood education and a heart for nurturing young learners

Preferred Qualifications:

CDA, Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

CPR/First Aid Certification

Previous experience in a licensed childcare center
