Job summary

The Sunshine House is hiring an Assistant Childcare Teacher at our Spartanburg and Duncan locations. The role focuses on creating a safe, nurturing classroom where children can learn, play, and grow, guided by Creative Curriculum and Brain Connect programs.

Starting pay is $15 per hour with potential for higher wages with advanced education and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, discounted childcare, and opportunities for tuition assistance and growth within our network.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with young children.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months of experience at a licensed childcare center preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks & health assessments.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• ECD 101 or higher preferred.

Compensation & Pay Range: Starting at $15 per hour Candidates with advanced education and experience in early childhood education may qualify for higher pay within the range. Regular increases are considered with additional education, stellar performance, and years of service.
