Job description

Provide nurturing childcare for infants and children in a daycare setting for the children of mothers completing residential substance use treatment. Plan and implement appropriate daily activities that meet the individual and group needs; encourage parent involvement, document child progress/activities; provide and maintain an environment that is physically, socially and emotionally safe and healthy. This position is 3 days per week on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays working 6 hours per day.

Compensation: $18 - $24.81 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Employees are eligible for sick leave accruals in accordance with Washington State law.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience working with children 0-5 years old.
  • Have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • While no longer required, as a health care provider BHR highly recommends applicants and employees are fully vaccinated against Covid.
