Job summary

Pine Village Preschool - Kendall Square in Cambridge, MA is seeking an experienced Childcare Director to lead and mentor a diverse team. The role focuses on delivering an enriching, inclusive early learning program aligned with the Inspire philosophy, while collaborating with families and across departments.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field (AA considered), at least two years of center leadership, and bilingual Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required; AA considered.
• At least two years of center leadership experience in a childcare program required.
• Bilingual in Spanish required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to pass background and health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor others within a diverse and inclusive environment.
• Engage with your team and families daily.
• Maintain a quality early childhood program within the Inspire philosophy and agency guidelines.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the center with a business mindset – making decisions for the betterment of the childcare center.
• Inspire and support the professional development of your staff to ensure success.
• Collaborate with other Inspire departments including finance, learning environments, marketing, customer service and human resources.

Who You Are

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive attitude and passion for working with children
• Ability to pass background and health requirements
