Job summary

The City of Worcester is seeking a qualified Childcare Program Coordinator for the Division of Youth Opportunities (DYO) within the Department of Health and Human Services. The coordinator will supervise the WC4K Babysitting program, oversee the virtual WC4K curriculum, coordinate with Youth Opportunities staff, and supervise program staff including professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in human services or related field, or equivalent education/experience.
• One year of clerical/admin experience and one year of supervision experience.
• Experience with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Must pass a CORI/SORI background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the virtual WC4K programming, curriculum, and staff.
• Communicate with families about virtual WC4K programming and schedule coordination.
• Oversee implementation of virtual programming.
• Coordinate with Youth Opportunities staff to partner with community organizations.
