Job summary

Little Fliers is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide early learning activities for infants to pre-K, nurturing a positive classroom culture that supports growth. You will inspire joy in learning, lead a teaching team, and partner with families to ensure each child’s wellbeing and development.

The role emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and a strong commitment to the center’s values, with opportunities to mentor others and shape daily learning experiences.

Qualifications

• CD A or higher required.
• Experience in early childhood education.
• Ability to lead and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily learning activities and create a fun, safe classroom environment.
• Mentor and coach assistant teachers to build a strong teaching team.
• Foster strong relationships with families through daily communication and collaboration.
• Plan engaging, age-appropriate lessons to support child development.
• Model and reinforce Little Fliers Core Values in all interactions.

Compensation: $16 - $18 an hour, based on experience and education

Shift: Monday - Friday: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Education Requirements: CDA or Higher

As a Lead Teacher, you will:

• Make every day an adventure in learning.

• Create relationships with parents and provide support through daily interactions and communication.
• Coach and mentor assistant teachers to develop a strong classroom teaching team.
