Job summary

Discovery Point - Buford is seeking an Infant Assistant Teacher to support the lead teacher from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. You will help plan age-appropriate activities and guide children through development within the approved curriculum.

You will maintain a safe, healthy learning environment, follow licensing requirements, and contribute to a rewarding career path in child care with opportunities for advancement and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.
• Knowledge of early childhood education and curriculum.
• Knowledge of child care licensing rules and regulations.
• Ability to obtain training in CPR/Fire Safety and other training required.
• Must be able to meet all state requirements for Assistant Teachers.

As a Discovery Point Childcare Infant Assistant Teacher, you will assist the lead teacher with planning lessons and instructing children in activities according to the approved child care curriculum designed to promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth and development. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment.

Childcare Assistant Teacher Qualifications
