Job summary

Acquire4Hire is seeking a reliable, kind, energetic person who loves children and wants to join a dedicated childcare center team. The role is full time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–6:00 pm, and will float between classrooms from infant through pre-K, providing breaks for teachers and helping as needed in the classrooms.

This is a fun position with something new every day, in a center serving children from infant through 5th grade, recognized for excellence in child care.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 30 pounds and be physically active.
• Ability to move between classrooms and assist as needed.

About This Role

We are looking for a reliable, kind, energetic person who loves children - and who wants to work as a key part of an amazing childcare center team!

The position is full time, Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. This person will float between classrooms ranging from infant through pre-K, providing breaks for teachers and helping as needed in the classrooms. This is a fun position with something new every day.

The Neighborhood Learning Center serves children from infant through 5th grade and we are an active, friendly, great place to work! In 2024, 2025, and 2026, we won Best of Loudoun for Best Child Care Center!

What You'll Do

• Float between classrooms to provide other staff with breaks
• Ensure safety and well-being of children in your care, while giving them lots of love!
• Help with lunch coverage in classrooms, including nap time while other staff members take their own lunch breaks
• Run errands to/from classrooms such as bringing extra plates, supplies, etc.
• Assist administrative staff with projects and duties as requested - for example, meeting children at the bus stop at the end of the driveway, helping to fold laundry, gathering a child's belongings to go home, etc.
