The role requires 2-year degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, with plan for 4-year degree; supervision and budget duties are key parts of the job, along with compliance with ODJFS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Requires 2-year degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; plan for 4-year degree preferred.
• If degree not in Early Childhood Education, 12 college credits in education; transcripts required.
• 2 years experience in child care/education field per OFDJS.
• 2 years experience in child care program area systems and guidelines.
• One year supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, evaluate and implement all aspects of child care programs per YMCA guidelines.
• Ensure enrollment numbers and compliance with ODJFS guidelines.
• Supervise staff, hire and evaluate staff, and maintain records.
• Promote health, safety and clean environment across sites.
• Coordinate reports and inspections with ODJFS.
