Job summary

ASAC is seeking childcare staff to monitor and care for children in a daycare setting. You will implement a developmental curriculum for your assigned group and participate in staff and parent meetings. Responsibilities include assisting with routines, meals, safety, and documentation.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent; an AA in Early Childhood Education or CDA is preferred. Valid driving license and MVR are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a High School Diploma, or equivalent.
• An AA Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, CDA Certificate, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) is required.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the teaching team to develop and conduct developmentally appropriate activities for a group of children.
• Assist in health and safety standards for the children.
• Assist children in learning self-help skills and provide for their basic care.
• Prepare snacks and meals as needed.
• Maintain an orderly environment and assist in records and reports.
• Attend staff and parent meetings and events.
• Safely operate a vehicle for job-related travel.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

AA Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

CDA Certificate

Experience in licensed childcare center
