Carmelite Daycare Center seeks a dependable Daycare Cook to heat, prepare, and serve meals for about 43 children daily. The role emphasizes independence, organization, and commitment to nutritious meals.

The position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend shifts, flexible breaks, and paid training. CPR certification assistance and the Prevent and Protect training are provided at no cost, in a welcoming child-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of cooking, kitchen, or food service experience.
• ServSafe certification is a plus, but not required.
• CPR certification is required; assistance with obtaining certification is provided at no cost.
• Completion of the Prevent and Protect training course is required and provided at no cost.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage daily responsibilities.
• Dependable and detail-oriented with a positive attitude.

Responsabilités

Carmelite Child Development Center is seeking a dependable, motivated, and organized Daycare Cook to join our Carmelite Daycare team!The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys working independently, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and is passionate about providing nutritious meals for children.

Our daycare serves approximately 43 children daily. This position primarily involves heating, preparing, and serving meals rather than extensive cooking from scratch.
