Job summary

Chroma Early Learning Academy in Marietta, GA is seeking a friendly kitchen cook to prepare breakfast, lunch and snacks for children and staff, while maintaining health and safety guidelines.

You will manage food inventory, follow the daily menu and keep the kitchen clean, with occasional classroom assistance as needed. Must meet state health guidelines and be at least 18 years old.

About This Role

We are looking for a friendly face to cook and feed our students breakfast, lunch, and snack. Our cook is responsible for overall food preparation, food inventory, cleaning & sanitizing, and additional center support when needed. Must be willing to abide by all health and safety guidelines mandated by the State of GA.

What You'll Do

• Prepare meals/snacks for children and staff while abiding by health and nutrition guidelines.
• Maintain inventory of food and kitchen supplies.
• Follow the provided daily menu.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
• Classroom Assistance as needed.

Requirements

• Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for multiple individuals, preferably in a childcare setting.
• A High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• An understanding of all current and local regulations.
