Job summary

New Horizon Academy in Brighton, Colorado is seeking a COOK to join our team. The role is full-time (roughly 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday) with a pay range of $19.40–$20.30 per hour, DOE.

This position supports our early childhood program and requires a strong work ethic. As a team member, you will prepare meals, maintain kitchen safety and cleanliness, and collaborate with staff to meet dietary needs for children.

Qualifications

• Meets state licensing requirements for food service in child-care settings.
• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Ability to work full-time (Mon-Fri) and adapt to scheduling needs.
• Must be able to pass background check and comply with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children in care.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe kitchen areas at all times.
• Coordinate with staff to follow dietary guidelines and allergies.
