Job Title: Childcare Center Director

Interview Location: 8101 Sandy Spring Rd Suite 102, Laurel, MD 20707 USA

Job Types: Full-Time Permanent + Benefits

Note: Candidate should be flexible enough to go to different locations of Kiddie Academy of Maryland like; (Laurel/Columbia/Owings Mills & Ellicott City).

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Effectively operates and manages all aspects of a childcare school, including human resources, customer relations, financial systems, quality control, and facility management.
  2. Provides creative, age-appropriate programs to all children served at the academy.
  3. Actively develops and maintains positive customer/community relations.
  4. Maintains high-capacity utilization and manages all resources effectively and within budget.
  5. Establishes strong working relationships with state licensing authorities.

Qualifications:

  1. Must have a minimum of Bachelors’ degree in the field of early childhood education, Elementary Education, or Business administration.
  2. Must be Director qualified in the state of Maryland.
  3. 90 hrs. in preschool, Infant/toddler, and school age is required.
  4. Minimum of 5+ years’ experience managing a childcare/preschool center.
  5. Time Management skills.

  3. 9 Hour communication or college coursework
  4. Director certification

  6. ADA certification
  7. Breastfeeding certification
