Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking an Assistant Director to help run a childcare program with the School Director, ensuring a safe and enriching environment for children and families. The role focuses on daily operations, staff leadership, and program integrity in a licensed center.

The ideal candidate will have 21+ years of age, leadership experience in licensed childcare, and at least 1 year in a licensed facility, with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily school operations with the School Director to ensure safe, effective operation.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in the program.
• Recruit, train, and retain quality staff to support a positive learning environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and state licensing requirements.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
