Job summary

Children of America, Inc. in Virginia seeks a Transporter/Bus Driver to safely shuttle children between programs and campuses. You will perform daily safety checks, follow School Director guidance, and provide a warm, reliable transportation experience for families.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, flexibility with hours, and a high school diploma. Experience in licensed childcare is a plus; must be 21+.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of state and local transportation regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible with hours and work schedule.
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children in a bus or van between educational programs.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and ensure vehicle functionality.
• Implement company safety procedures with guidance from the School Director.
• Exhibit care, compassion, and patience with children.
• Provide a nurturing and safe transportation experience.
• Represent COA positively with children, families, and staff.
