Varied
We work nationally, with occasional placements in Wales or Devon. Typically, we cover Hampshire, Dorset, and Sussex.
Minimum Level 2 in Childcare depending on the role. Practical experience is essential.
Responsibilities include caring for children, ensuring their safety and cleanliness, planning meals, and organizing educational activities suitable for their age and developmental stage. You should reassure parents that their children are in a safe environment even when they are not around. Additional duties may include maintaining a tidy family environment and household chores. Applicants generally have Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent experience, along with experience in lone working with children and Paediatric First Aid.
Roles include creche leader or assistant for local authority, wedding, or event creches. Tasks involve setting up the creche area, signing in children, supervising their activities, recording nappy changes and feedings, and packing up after the session. Candidates typically hold Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent, with experience in team settings or nursery environments, and Paediatric First Aid certification.
Usually in large hotels during events or dinners. This is ad hoc work that can be scheduled flexibly around your current commitments. Applicants should have childcare experience working with children aged 0-10 years.
