Job summary

Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. seeks Babysitting Support Staff to care for infants and children at the Katz JCC Health & Wellness facility. Schedule flexibility is required with availability mornings, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities include creating a safe, engaging environment, maintaining records, following health protocols, and coordinating with maintenance and other departments to ensure smooth operation of the childcare program.

Qualifications

• Patient, warm personality and good nurturing relationship with children/infants.
• Proven ability to lead activities with children of all ages.
• Active and able to engage with kids on the floor, lift babies, handle equipment.
• Works well with others toward common goals.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a friendly, clean, presentable, safe, and age-appropriate environment for members utilizing the JCC Childcare facility.
• Interact and engage the children utilizing the JCC Childcare facility.
• Maintain attendance records for the JCC Childcare Program.
• Follow Covid-19 protocols as directed by the JCC and health authorities.
• Maintain ongoing communication with program participants.
• Ensure equipment is properly stored, maintained, and cared for.
• Assist in maintenance of fitness and wellness childcare equipment and facilities; report hazards.
• Promote the fitness and wellness department and coordinate with other JCC departments.
• Represent the agency to promote the Katz JCC and inter-agency programs.
• Additional responsibilities may be added as needed.

We are hiring Babysitting Support Staff to provide care for infants and children of members utilizing the Health & Wellness facility at the Katz JCC.

Schedule flexibility is a must -Must be available mornings, nights, and weekends

Job Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain a friendly, clean, presentable, safe, and age-appropriate environment for members utilizing the JCC Childcare facility
• Interact and engage the children that are utilizing the JCC Childcare facility
• Maintain records with respect to the JCC Childcare Program, (i.e.: attendance list)
• Maintain appropriate Covid-19 protocols as directed by the JCC, local health department, State Dept. of Health and CDC.
• Maintain ongoing communication with members (participants) of the Childcare facility
• Responsible ensuring that equipment is properly stored, maintained, and cared for
• Along with maintenance department - provide ongoing maintenance - fitness and wellness childcare equipment and facilities. Report unclean conditions, safety hazards and malfunctioning equipment
• Assist in the promotion of the fitness and wellness department and integration with other JCC departments to ensure the productive, effective, and efficient operation of the Agency.
• As a representative of the agency, maintain proper relationships with public for the purpose of promoting the Katz JCC and inter-agency programs.
• Additional responsibilities may be added periodically based upon the needs of the fitness and wellness department of the Katz JCC.
