Job summary

Child Development Schools is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support a Lead Teacher and help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. You will engage with young learners through hands-on activities, storytelling, and everyday moments, fostering curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth.

The role focuses on building warm relationships with families, observing children, and preserving a safe, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports

You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom

Pay And Benefits

Pay: $12,50 per hour, based on experience and education.
