Nature and Nurture Discovery School - Job Opening for Assistant Teachers and Floaters

Nature and Nurture Discovery School is a licensed childcare center seeking Assistant Teachers and Floaters for the following age groups: Infants and School-Age. To be qualified for this position, candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, classroom experience, and the ability to pass all background checks. A CDA credential is highly preferred.

Shift and Compensation

Required Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm
Compensation: $15.00-$21.00/hr., based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher with all classroom activities in alignment with the center's philosophy and goals.
• Implement activities that promote children's emotional, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Take direction, accept constructive criticism, and make improvements as needed.
• Create and maintain a clean and safe environment for all children.
• Establish professional rapport with families to ensure quality care.
• Physically capable of working around children, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and meet all physical requirements of the role.
