Job summary

Child Development Schools is seeking an Assistant Teacher in Ooltewah, Tennessee. You will work with the Lead Teacher to deliver engaging activities, support early childhood learning, and create a welcoming classroom environment where children feel safe and curious.

Responsibilities include assisting with lessons, maintaining a clean classroom, engaging with children during daily routines, and communicating with families. The role supports licensing ratios and ongoing documentation and reports.

Assistant Teacher -- Ooltewah, Tennessee

Your role

As an Assistant Teacher at Child Development Schools, you will help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. Working alongside your Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands-on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom

Pay And Benefits

Pay: 13-15 per hour, based on experience and education.
