The Assistant Teacher is knowledgeable of developmental early childhood methods and is responsible for assisting the teacher in the care and learning of children, developing lesson plans while following the curriculum, and assisting with day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Education
High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
College-level coursework in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, psychology, or completion of Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) (Preferred)
Certification/Licensure
Driver's License - Certification - Other/National
Food Handlers Card - Certification - Food Service Certification within 90 days of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI within 30 days of hire
