Job summary

Child Development Schools in Hubert, NC is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons, and to help create a warm, safe classroom where children can explore and grow.

You will interact with children during activities, meals, and outdoor time, observe progress, communicate with families, and help with attendance and daily reports as part of a collaborative teaching team.

Assistant Teacher -- Hubert, North Carolina

Your role

As an Assistant Teacher at Child Development Schools, you will help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. Working alongside your Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands‑on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age‑appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time

Pay And Benefits

Pay: 13-15 per hour, based on experience and education.
